VERITY is excited to announce that the wider VERITY research community will be able to virtually participate in the 2024 VERITY/Brigham Course in Rheumatology Clinical Research
The VERITY course is aimed at early investigators performing epidemiologic and patient-oriented research in rheumatology and musculoskeletal diseases. Themes of sessions include epidemiology and study design, statistical analysis, and data management, grantsmanship, and mentorship and career development. Over 20 faculty from Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston Children’s Hospital, University of North Carolina, Medical University of Vienna, and Toronto Sick Kids will participate in the course.

When will the VERITY course be held?
- The 2024 VERITY course will be held Tuesday, April 2, to Friday, April 5, 2024. The course sessions will generally be held from 9AM ET to 12PM ET and from 1PM ET to 3PM ET.
- Virtual research community attendees are not obligated to attend all sessions.
- Please note that some sessions are reserved only for full course attendees who will be honing their research projects with VERITY faculty in small groups. We are unable to offer this to the entire VERITY research community.
- We plan to record lectures to be able to view after the live sessions.

Who is eligible to virtually attend the VERITY course?
- This opportunity is being offered only to members of the VERITY research community. To become a member, select the “Become a Member” option in the upper-right corner. VERITY membership is free.
- Content is most applicable to junior faculty and fellows interested in pursuing a career in academic medicine in adult/pediatric rheumatology or other musculoskeletal diseases. Other faculty, residents, medical students, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students are also welcome to attend.
